SUMMER TERM Mrs Littler's Class Room 13

Fabulous sunny weather greeted us on our return for the Summer Term! We were all pleased to see Baxter Bear and Kylie once again. Baxter enjoyed a super time with Kai and Kylie has all the felt pen removed from her skin, so she's looking perky again!
Our Royal Wedding party photos Year 2.
An exciting week led up to Thursday 28th April when Year 2 decided to have a "Bling Your Bike" Day, to celebrate the royal wedding of Prince William to Catherine Middleton. The children rose to this occasion in their usual magnificent fashion, and, with the help of their parents put on a brilliant show of decorated bikes and helmets. The standard was so high it really was difficult to choose a winner, so ... each class had several 'winners.' Isabella won a bag of great "Bike-It" surprises, well done Isabella! After the bike and scooter parade we had a playground party with scrumptious treats, thanks to the generosity of our wonderful P.T.A!

OUR SCHOOL TRIP TO LIVERPOOL
We had a fantastic day in Liverpool! Three coaches left Farnborough Road and headed for Liverpool via the Antony Gormley statues at Crosby. We met children from our partner school, Matthew Arnold Primary, in Sefton Park. We couldn't wait to have our picnic lunch which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Chldren from Matthew Arnold danced for us in the park which was wonderful of them and we were all impressed with their routine! Soon we arrived at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and enjoyed a fantastic concert based on the theme of 'Space.'
