Guidance on Infection control in school

~ School Uniform ~

Our school colours are maroon, gold and grey.  We suggest simple fastenings; especially helpful are shoes with Velcro fastenings for our younger pupils. For girls we request shoes with sensible heels maximum - 2cm.

Pupils are discouraged from wearing trainers or boots.  All children should wear sensible school shoes.

All pupils have the option to wear long straight legged grey school type trousers.  Girls have a further option of wearing a grey pinafore or skirt and a maroon cardigan or school sweatshirt. Infants can wear short grey trousers with a maroon school sweatshirt.

Gold polo shirts should be worn by all Nursery and Infant children.

Junior pupils only may wear white shirts and school ties.

For the Summer there is the option for girls to wear pink/red and white striped or checked dresses. They should continue to wear school shoes or closed sandals. Open-toe sandals must not be worn.

Please ensure that all clothing is labelled.  Farnborough sweatshirts, cardigans, polo shirts, summer caps, fleeces, waterproof coats and leaflets for name tapes can be obtained from the schools offices.

P.E. Kit

In the infants pupils should wear black shorts and a white T-shirt or vest.  They should also have black pumps available in their PE bags.

In the Juniors

Black shorts

School T-shirts or plain T-shirts in house colours.

Thin soled pumps or bare feet.

For outdoor activities a tracksuit may be worn in addition to the PE kit. Trainers may also be worn.

Children should not wear any form of jewellery whilst at school (with the exception of plain studs to keep open pierced holes in ears).  Stud earrings must be removed or covered by a plaster for all P.E. sessions.

Watches may be worn entirely at parents' risk.

Mobile Phones and other electrical equipment are not allowed in school.
