We were supported in this by several professional artistes - Sally Bankes, Royal Shakespeare Company actress who came to talk to Year 2 about Shakespeare; Adam Knight, art teacher; Greenbank High School drama group and teacher Ms Bloom; Sarah Marks, musician; Natalie Fletcher, actress; Sharon King, performing arts; Paul Wilkinson, actor and director; James Martin, samba drums; Miss Vicky, dance.
The week's finale was a "Carnival Parade" around the school site - great fun.

Southport School Council Event
Mon 14 Jul 2014On Thursday 3rd July representatives from our School Council attended a special presentation event at The Ramada Hotel in Southport.
We have worked in team with Greenbank High School, Our Lady of Lourdes Primary, Birkdale Primary and Farnborough Road Junior School on an "Eco Warriors" project.
The aim was to promote and educate our peers about Ainsdale Discovery Centre and improve the resources and environment in that area.
We have: re-designed the toppers for the wooden trail posts; re-designed the trail maps for the Sand Dunes Trail; designed and made a mosaic for display outside The Discovery Centre and told the other children in our schools how to appreciate and look after the wildlife in this area.
