Our 2-Year-old, Caterpillars, wear their own clothes for school.

The rest of our school wear a school uniform. Our school colours are maroon, gold and grey.

Required Uniform for Farnborough Road Infant School

Uniform: Boys and Girls worn all year round.

Gold polo shirts are worn by all Nursery and Infant children with a maroon cardigan or school sweatshirt. (These can be worn with or without the school logo)

Pupils have the option to wear long straight-legged grey school-type trousers or short grey trousers or a grey pinafore or skirt.

Nursery children ONLY have the option of wearing grey jogging bottoms to encourage independent self-care.

Socks should be grey in the winter - with the option of white socks with a summer dress.

Optional Summer Uniform:

In the Summer there is the option to wear pink/red and white striped or checked dresses.

Shoes

Black school shoes should be worn all year round

Fastenings should be simple eg Velcro fastenings for our younger pupils.

Laced shoes should ONLY be worn if children can do their own laces.

We request shoes with sensible heels maximum - 2cm.

Trainers, boots or open-toe sandals must not be worn.

Please ensure that all clothing is labelled.

A Farnborough Road Infant School Book bag is also required for every Nursery and Infant school child to carry books and letters home.

Water bottles are also essential so children can drink water throughout the school day in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. All children will be given a school water bottle in the new school year. Replacement school water bottle can be purchased from the school shop. All water bottles should be clear and have sports bottle top.

Lunch Boxes

All children in the Nursery who stay for lunch will require a lunch box as these children will stay at school for a packed lunch - please ensure these are clearly labelled with your child's name.

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can choose to stay for a school meal or bring their own packed lunch in their lunch box.

Branded uniform items can be purchased from the school shop below or from local uniform retailers.
