Good morning,
I am emailing you this morning to express my gratitude and thanks at having attended a wonderful day at Farnborough Road Infant School yesterday!

I would be most grateful if you would convey my thanks to Mrs Taylor for organising the day and to all the staff for making myself and my fellow colleagues so welcome.

What a great day @FrisInf I really enjoyed team teaching and training with colleagues. The highlight of the day was listening to lots of mathematical discussion linked to number, reasoning, proving and convincing from the very enthusiastic and engaged children. Well Done!

Good Morning,

Just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and all your colleagues for such a fantastic day yesterday. I felt we all benefited form sharing good practice and having professional dialogue in an informal way. Thank you for the guided tour of your lovely school, and the hospitality which was very welcome. Looking forward to seeing you again soon,

Enjoy the rest of the week,

Churchtown Primary

Dear Miss Cox

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the Deaf Action Assembly last Thursday. The energy & enthusiasm of the children was lovely to watch and it was clear they had enjoyed the sessions with Ian and the team. I haven't seen so many children clearly enjoying and participating in an activity for a while and it was a privilege to be able to join them. Well done to all those who supported these sessions.

Please feel free to pass this on to Ian and the Deaf Action team if this helps support future sessions

regards

Dear Mrs Taylor
I have had a wonderful week and so have all my colleagues who have helped including our nursing students!  Your children were so well behaved and sat and listened so well.  I told them all that I would tell you this because I was so impressed with them and you should be so proud of them!
I look forward to doing some more work in school in the future and working with the children again, I have lots of ideas I am working on.
It has been an absolute pleasure.
Thank you so much
Kirsten

Email from Caroline Prendergast - Parent Governor

I just wanted to express my thanks for the invitations to this years Christmas concerts. I thoroughly enjoyed the reception concert on Thursday and Butterflies concert yesterday.

All the children had obviously worked very hard to learn all the songs and their lines. I was impressed by the confident performances-not easy to do for children who are so young.

Please also pass on my thanks to the staff for all their hard work. It's such a busy time of year and I know that the parents really appreciate the time and effort that the staff put in in order to make these performances possible.

Wishing you a very merry Christmas and best wishes for 2019

Kind regards

Caroline

Tuesday 7th March 2017

Dear Mrs Taylor, Mrs Price, Teachers and Staff,

I want to take this opportunity to thank you personally for the wonderful day I had in attending Governor Day at the school. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming throughout my time at the school, each one of you were friendly and extremely approachable. I would like to congratulate you on the success of Governor Day, I feel I gained a real insight in to the school, it was a privilege to attend classes and meet many of the pupils.

I understand teachers and schools are facing tough challenges now with one thing and another, as a parent-governor who has recently visited the school I would like to say well done! What I witnessed was passionate teaching at all levels, the progress a child makes from the very start once entering Farnborough Road Infant School to the very end as they leave in year 2 is the very best. Thank you for going above and beyond, I am proud my children attend this school and I am proud to play a part in it.

Best Wishes

Helen Harrison.

Hi Mrs Taylor,
I just wanted to drop a quick line...
I went with Room 8 as a parent helper to Chester Zoo yesterday. I was so impressed with all of the children. They were polite and well behaved, good manners and kind to each other. I was so proud of all of them, they are a credit to themselves, the school and their teachers.
I was also very impressed with Miss Clarke, who I know is still a student. The children obviously think very highly of her and it was clear yesterday that this was deserved. I am sure she will be an excellent teacher in the near future.
Kind regards

Dear Mrs Farmer,

On behalf of Tracey and my colleagues on the PD event team at Oxford University Press thanks once again for being our very organised and hospitable host for Tuesday’s event. Please would you pass on our thanks to Mrs Taylor and other members of staff who had been so helpful. The feedback we got from the delegates was really positive, so I’m glad that we were able to offer the opportunity to schools in the area to come along.

Kind regards

Lesley

Dear Mrs Taylor,
I visited your nursery on two occasions recently to assess a child with additional needs and I wanted to let you know how positive this experience was.
Mrs Hookham and her team, provide a nurturing, calm environment alongside
stimulating and multi-sensory experiences .
I was really impressed by the inclusive atmosphere and the positive approaches to meeting the child's needs.
The subsequent meeting with her parent and grandparent was equally supportive .
I look forward to visiting the nursery again in the Summer term.

Dear Mrs Taylor

As a frequent visitor to Primary and Infant schools I can say that Farnborough Road is as welcoming as they come. Warm and friendly staff have created warm and friendly children - an ethos you sense throughout the school.
My visit was organised by the Science Coordinator who came to school on her day off to welcome me!  She ensured I had a parking spot, helped direct equipment to the room, gave me a tour and made sure I had a hot drink in the staff room. As someone delivering a lesson I was afforded everything I needed to make sure it went well.

Staff were enthusiastic about the workshops I delivered and this attitude gave children the confidence to explore and try new experiences.

Many thanks for a wonderful couple of days.

Dear Mrs Taylor

we are writing to congratulate your Year 1 pupils on their participation in our celebratory evening of William Shakespeare, No Holds Bard. The children not only performed with enthusiasm and confidence, but were also impeccably behaved throughout the daytime rehearsal and the evening performance, proving to be a credit to your school. They were thoroughly charming onstage and the audience, as you know, were delighted by their performance.

We would like to thank Mrs Fletcher who did a wonderful job in devising the piece, directing the children and performing with them. The piece was sufficiently challenging and was perfectly pitched to their age and ability, providing them not only with knowledge and understanding of Shakespeare's life and work, but also with valuable performance skills which they will be able to further develop in the future.

The children should be really proud of their achievement and we would be grateful if you could pass on the enclosed Performance award Certificates to them from Greenbank High School.

Yours sincerely,
