Welcome to Farnborough Road Infant School!

On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors welcome to Farnborough Road Infant School’s website. We hope you find it informative and it gives you an insight into our school and the many opportunities our children enjoy.

We are a four form entry infant school in the seaside town of Southport teaching children aged between 2 to 7 years. We also have strong partnerships with First Steps Family Wellbeing Centre and Farnborough Road Junior School who share the same site.

We believe the first years in school shape a child's attitudes to learning. Our school provides a happy, safe and caring environment where children can grow into confident, independent learners who respect individual differences and our strong social, spiritual, cultural and moral values.

Our dedicated team of enthusiastic staff provide an exciting, creative and challenging curriculum. We work in partnership with parents and carers to achieve tailored learning to meet the individual needs of all children.   We are never complacent and continue to strive to improve learning opportunities further as well as promoting high standards of behaviour to ensure your child can achieve their full potential.

I am extremely proud of Farnborough Road Infant School and the outstanding personal, development and welfare that we provide for the children in our care.

" This is a happy school. Pupils appreciate leaders’ ambition that everyone feels special, has hope, and a reason to smile. Pupils feel at ease and enjoy one another’s company. They have lots of friends. "

 (Ofsted, March 2023)

If you would like to see our school in action I am always pleased to show prospective children and parents around so that they can see our school first hand.

Please make an appointment with me via the school office.

Thank you for visiting our website. If you require a paper copy of the information on our school website please do not hesitate to ask at the school office. This will be provided free of charge.

I look forward to meeting you and joining you in supporting your child on their road to success.
