  • HELP US WIN A SAIL SHADE

    Fri 19 Mar 2021

Help Us to Win a Canopy!

Farnborough Road Infant School have entered a competition to win a shade sail from A&S Landscape, a supplier of canopies for schools. This sail shade would not only provide much-needed shade in our south-facing playground but provide a quiet and calm place for our children to sit and talk and re-establish their friendships after a really tricky COVID year. For us to win this exciting competition we have to collect the most votes! Please click here to vote for our school.

Once you have voted, please help us to spread the message on friends, parents and supplier’s websites as well as social media to help us win!

  • Beach Clean

    Tue 09 Mar 2021

‘Southport children working together when they are apart’

We are promoting a Southport Learning Partnership project in the coming weeks and you might like to take part in the coming days.

Usually the schools all work together on projects, but that has been harder in the past few months. However, this very simple plan could have a big impact on our local environment and we can do it inside
    the current restrictions.

 The SLP Beach Clean will take place in February and March 2021
 Take a carrier bag and gloves to the beach as part of your daily exercise
 Make sure you keep to all of the current rules
 Fill the bag with rubbish that you find -
    be careful to keep safe
 Take a selfie and send it to your school
 If you can, tweet the photo tagging @FRJSJun and @SouthportLP

Together, we can make a big difference by all doing a little bit!

Beach cleaning photos can be found below.
