We had a wonderful Arts week on the theme of Carnival. Children in all year groups took part in a wide range of activities, including  music, art, drama, performing arts, design technology, all linked to carnivals and festivals. 

We were supported in this by several professional artistes - Sally Bankes, Royal Shakespeare Company actress who came to talk to Year 2 about Shakespeare; Adam Knight, art teacher; Greenbank High School drama group and teacher Ms Bloom; Sarah Marks, musician; Natalie Fletcher, actress; Sharon King, performing arts; Paul Wilkinson, actor and director; James Martin, samba drums; Miss Vicky, dance. 

The week's finale was a "Carnival Parade" around the school site - great fun.
