A group of 10 Year 2 children were invited by the Confucius Institute at Edge Hill University to attend a evening of Chinese dance and culture. Children, parents and staff were wowed by a production performed by a professional Chinese Art Troupe from Beijing, China. The performance combined the unique charm of graceful ancient Chinese dance with the unique skill of Martial Arts, incorporating weapons such as swords traditional Chinese boxing the fan and heart stopping aerobatics manoeuvres.
