Southport Learning Partnership, a network of all the local schools has commissioned a full size World War 1 Sopwith Camel plane for use in a range of curriculum areas.

The aeroplane was officially opened today, Thursday 25th June, on Bedford Park by the Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside. Representatives from many of the schools were there to witness this event and even sit in the plane, if they wanted to!
